Current Status

27.03.2023:

09.06.2022:
First patient in! We have now recruitet the first patient into the study. We plan to finish recruitment in spring 2023

21.03.2021:
The study start date had to be postponed from January 2020 to January 2021 due to circumstances of COVID-19. Since then, the study team has finalized the ethics application and study protocol and is now preparing for the start of data collection in June 2022.

18.12.2019:
The Swiss National Science Foundations has approved our application! The study will now be funded in the NRP 77 funding scheme. Next, we will hire researchers to conduct the study, whom we will introduce to you early in 2020. until then, we wish you a happy holiday season and a good start into the new year.

9. September 2019:
We have submitted a full proposal of the study to the Swiss National Science Foundations NRP 77 funding scheme to obtain funding for this study. We expect to be informed of their decision by the end of 2019. Meanwhile, we are working to submit the study protocol to the Ethics Committee for approval.

27. August 2019:
We have meet with our two advisory boards, one of patients and one of experts. They have provided valuable insigths and suggestion on many details of the study design. A big Thank you to everyone who attended.

14. July 2019:
Among 324 applications, the Swiss National Science Foundation has invited 90 to submitt a full proposal - and our study is one of them! We are greatful for the opportunity and are working hard to submit a convincing full proposal by September 9th.

23.February 2019:
We assembled a team of investigators and submitted a first sketch of our study proposal to the Swiss National Science Foundations NRP 77 funding scheme to obtain funding for this study.
